Hello : ) My name is Jiwon. I love dark chocolates, print and pattern free clothes, Alex Katz paintings, and evening jump rope workouts.

I’m a designer, illustrator and graduate of the School of Visual Arts, where I studied Graphic Design and Interaction Design. I have worked as a Design Intern on the Product Documentation team at Apple in Cupertino and at Sagmeister&Walsh in New York. I’ve also freelance illustrated for Apple’s App Store team.

This year, I was lucky enough to receive PRINT Regional Design Awards and The Dieline Awards. In May, my work was exhibited at the 2017 Chicago HOW Design Conference.

The blend of visual, interaction design, and illustration is my primary interest. I have a passion for making delicate visuals that embody a sense of intention within a harmonious color palette. The part of the design process that I get most excited about is measuring and arranging types to get to the best readability layout. Most of all, I seek to create interactive moments that will engage and delight my audience.

Thank you for taking a look at my work. If you'd like to talk, I'd love to hear from you!

Happy to connect!
